Here I have a chunky hemlock frame to the left and right and a very thin sliver on top and bottom. Inside are slivers of maple with sawdust on top.
I am having some sort of love affair with lines in wood - with not only the wood itself but the spaces inbetween - the non-uniform uniformity...
